This week I'm puttering around in a (loaner) 2013 Beetle Turbo. I didn't think I was a Beetle guy, but man, this thing is fun. Very similar driving experience to the GTI, in fact. I may write a review, should I feel so inclined.

I have been converted. My girlfriend has an older Turbo S with a 6 speed, and it is a hoot to drive hard. Being an air cooled guy growing up I was surprised how much fun it is

I drive a 2012 also red and I love it. I am a beetle guy. oh love the phaeton btw.

Everyone's a Beetle guy haha. I honestly can't decide if I'd have this or a GTI if I had the money. They both have such different strengths, so I feel like they're balanced, just in different ways.

Jagvar, I know you've mentioned this before, but where do you work again? I remember seeing your other car at Katie's a few times, and I read your review of the Tiguan (I think it was a Tiguan...). I just can't remember where you worked, and I'm curious, haha.

Cool! I get the Phaeton serviced at Lindsay. I'll have to let you know when I'm bringing it by next. What do you do there? Do you know Troy? He's usually the one who works on my car.

I don't care what anyone says, I really like the way the new Beetle looks. Jason enjoyed the GSR he had too. It sounds pretty fun to drive.

Sounds good. I work every day but Tuesday, and the first two Sundays of the month when we're closed. I don't know Troy yet; haven't been introduced to everybody in service yet, so I only know about half of them so far.
I don't know if I've seen your car here yet - I did see a W12 Phaeton last week, though. Gorgeous.

I really like these Beetles. I saw one one dropped and on aftermarket wheels, and damn- looked amazeballs...
